Our Philosophy

Through years of research, study, and experience, we have developed expertise in identifying patterns of thought and behavior that diminish self-worth. Our root-cause approach provides insight into how fear manifests in these patterns – in relationships, our work, and our innermost selves. Fear of failure, and even fear of success, can be traced to conditions that have become so familiar that they are actively pursued. We work with our clients to thoroughly uncover sources of pain and shift perspectives to heal. Messages we receive, especially when we are young, can be internalized and lead us down a path not aligned with our best versions of ourselves. Even in adulthood, instances of trauma – realized or not – can set up unrealistic expectations and reinforce negative thought patterns. When working with clients, we aim to acknowledge and validate traumatic and adverse experiences, promote self-advocacy, and create a practical path toward personalized wellness goals.

About Us

We specialize in helping clients clear obstacles on the road to recovery from personal challenges, including depression, trauma, and low self-image. If you have been feeling “off course,” we can assist in identifying the challenges and developing strategies to regain focus and get you back on your path with renewed spirit.

If you feel scattered or lost on your path, we can help you strengthen your focus and identify steps toward accomplishing your goals. We work with clients to develop strategies for healthy coping and get to the root cause of suffering so that true healing can occur. Many years of experience treating substance abuse, combined with our personal experience, have blossomed into a compassionate and impactful approach to recovery.

In our practice, we have developed expertise not only in substance use disorders and chronic relapse but also in dual diagnosis and more. Our practice encompasses the treatment of relationship issues, mood disorders, family conflict, and grief.
